"A dog is one of the few things in life that is as it seems. " — Orhan Pamuk
These magnificent animals share a magical bond with humans which goes beyond our comprehension, that is a deep and vibrant resonance from the little hearts of these adorable and loyal animals. It is perceived through their unconditional affection, love and happiness which they show through every minute detail, and every moment of their lives through their behaviour and actions among the people they are comfortable with.
Having a lifespan of 10-15 years and a year equivalent to 7 years of a human life, they are yet active to an extent where they can go running behind passing vehicles, catching balls thrown meters away and sprint for kilometers at a stretch without even stopping untl they are instructed to. Trained to an extent, dogs can perform tasks that can leave people awestruck and this skill is utilized even by military to “sniff out” the culprit or search for any sort of material, cloth, or arms.
Dogs are those animals which always have a sort of magic and rhythm within them to attract others, often through their appearance which people go head-over-heels for and go, “Awwww!” More than anything, they are pure of heart that is proved through every action that makes them loved in the human world and a quality upheld majestically in the animal kingdom. Being able to sense emotions better than a human mind, dogs respond in a way that is stunning, relieving the person of pressure, sadness or anger and bringing a smile to their faces. These furry creatures bury themselves in the faces of the individuals and attack them with soft and cute licks and whip their tail incessantly like the pecking of a woodpecker when they are happy, and faces moist, the individual bursts into pure bliss and laughter, cuddling, petting and kissing their little heads.
Dogs love walks and they are taken outside atleast twice a day since activity for them is a must and interaction is crucial. Street dogs, curious to see them, begin following the attention-lovers, barking or sniffing them to establish a sort of connection of familiarity or sometimes growl and cautiously follow them. Cats mostly stay out of the way since they wish no sort of trouble among these powerful creatures. They are kept at home for company and as a sense of security so that people are comfortable and happy.
Dogs are not meant only for affection, but they are a symbol of equality since they shower all the love that they possibly can to every person, and I am of the opinion that they were not given a voice by God Almighty so that they express their loyalty, trust, kindness, and ever-lasting love through their actions and not words.
