Pandemics in the Future

We have just gone through the phase of Covid 19 and our lives have almost returned to normal. Covid 19 had a very disastrous effect on the whole world. It was like an earthquake which shook the entire Earth. Pandemics are inevitable as scientists have already predicted the emergence of many more viruses .However these are only predictions- they may or may not be true. Pandemics cannot be predicted nor can they be avoided.

Scientific researches have shown that preventing the spread of these viruses are practically not possible. The only way to stop the spreading of these viruses would be by shutting all international contacts, canceling all flights and stopping external trade, which is not possible because if we take such measures, the economy of the country will be destroyed completely.

The following reasons also contribute to the lack of prevention of pandemics.

Funds for research: The level of science and research in the world is

developing gradually. In the case of preventing a predicted Pandemic and vaccines are not being developed as per the needs of the people.

Poor education: The level of education in many countries is not up to the mark. Quite a few people are still not educated about the pandemics and the precautionary measures that need to be taken. A lot of people cannot stay in their houses as their only source of income is manual labor for which they do have to go out.

We humans do not have the power to control pandemics, but we do have the power to make sure that they do not spread too much destruction all over the world. We cannot completely prevent pandemics but we can surely take precautions and follow government guidelines to stop the spread of pandemics.
