On the 27th of August, 2023 Russia launches an overnight attack against Ukraine by air by sending missiles to some targeted places in the country that Russia assures to shake Ukraine’s infrastructure and make them panic.
It was stated by the Ukrainian military officers that they saw a total of eight missiles targeted on the central as well as the northern part that are filled with history of Ukraine and is also immensely populated. Seeing the missiles launched by Russia, the entire Ukraine was under multiple safety alerts for more than a few hours. Russia had planned on regularly striking Ukraine with missiles and also sending drones to the people who Russia suspected the most. This entire plan was in the central parts of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian officers state to have shot down 4 out of the 8 missiles that have been spotted, they also believe that the other 4 were probably false and were just there to distract them. The police officers have also stated that no immediate response of strikes were noted by the state police or any officers in general and also that 2 drones were shot down that were gathering information about the people of importance in Ukraine.
Due to the amazing work of the officers and the political administrators there were no strikes on any residential or critical places but it was observed that 2 people were injured and 10 buildings were destroyed due to the falling debris of the missiles. The attacks in Ukraine have recently messed up and disrupted flights that go in and out of Ukraine/Mexico. Ukraine generally avoids taking responsibility for drone strikes but recently they have stated that shooting down the drones gives Russia the answer back that they are always ready for war.
