I am a very big fan of Star Wars and Marvel . I started watching Star Wars in 2020 and I was fascinated by the movies.
I have been watching Marvel movies since childhood but according to me Marvel is not as realistic as Star Wars . In the Star Wars movies and series , they have never mentioned Earth which means that there could be a Star Wars universe which we are not aware of . Let’s talk about the history of this incredible space-opera multimedia franchise created by George Lucas in 1977 . Begun in the 1970s and ’80s and resuscitated at the turn of the 21st century, the Star Wars films continually advanced the field of motion picture special effects and developed into an enormously lucrative merchandising industry. Now let’s talk about Marvel which started out in 1939 by Martin Goodman as Timely Comics . The first Marvel movie was released in 2008 which was Iron Man . This might come as a surprise to many, but only one universe comes out on top. If we were to look at which franchise does a better job of interconnectivity between the various means of storytelling, we will have to say that Star Wars is more successful than the MCU in its entire existence as a movie franchise . Marvel is clearly winning in Box Office and has a great fanbase, but still no Marvel movie has either earned more than Star Wars on box office or by inflation. Marvel and Star Wars have both made great Animated shows, but Star Wars reigns supreme because of The Clone Wars. Star Wars has shaped cinema. It elevated science fiction from the realm of drive-in camp to a mainstream art form. The MCU wouldn’t even exist without Star Wars. Most superhero movies before The Avengers focused on a single hero, their origin story, and a battle with a major nemesis. The Marvel Cinematic Universe changed that by introducing and establishing a core cast of characters on their own adventures before bringing them together for an epic finale. The result is a storyteller’s toybox, allowing for different arcs to blend and interact to create a saga that, in just over a decade, has become one of the most compelling franchises in film. In terms of theme parks , both the Avengers Campus and Star Wars Galaxy Edge are loved by Disney fans . Galaxy’s Edge is one of the most immersive theme park experiences in the world, and attractions like Rise of the Resistance have changed the way we view themed entertainment. The Avengers Campus is filled with shows and characters all around the park . Finally in terms of video games , Battlefront , Rogue squadron and Knights of the old republic are famous games . The Marvel game Spider-Man Miles Morales has become very famous and loved by Marvel fans. Ultimately with all the statistics and facts mentioned above, Star Wars wins this debate .
